Kitty Update

For those of you who were wondering, my cat survived his skin cancer surgery and is recovering. He has two shaven patches each the size of my hand, with six inches of stitches across them. He is busy trying to remove the stitches and liberal application of antihistamines only seems to delay him. I'm also giving him antibiotics to prevent secondary infections. I got him some Fancy Feast Turkey and Giblets variety and after downing two cans of it, he behaved like all was forgiven. I've been keeping the temperature in the house warmer for him and he spends more time than usual camped out in from of the heating vent. After the anesthesia wore off, he returned to his normal behavior and has been sleeping on top of me and purring when given the chance. He greatly enjoyed my being snowed in with him all weekend. I'm awaiting the results of the biopsies and we'll see where we go from there.
