Serenity wins the Hugo!

Serenity won the Hugo Award last night, beating out Narnia, HP4, Wallace & Gromit, and Batman Begins for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form. According to drewan, the woman who played River was there to accept it. Way to go, Joss Whedon!

Actually it was Morena Baccarin who was there. She played Inara. We miss heard her name.

OOh! Thanks for the list of winners. Not only did Serenity win, but so did two of the best from Dr Who 2005 (I am just a wee bit obsessed with that show (understatement of the day) so I'm excited about that!

And of course I just now finished watching that season. (As the Queen of Dead Shows it is my duty to postpone watching a great new show in order to give it a chance to live. :) )
