New Kitty???

Last night, [profile] puzzld1 and I went to Kitty Cottage and I put in an application to adopt another cat! I had seen his photo on their website and had fallen for him. His name is Chester and he is a large orange tabby (I have to find out whether that has always been his name or whether the staff have renamed him). He's 5 years old and was abandoned by his owner at a vet a few weeks ago. When we met him, he was very sweet and thoroughly enjoyed our attention. He had hurt his left foreleg and was walking with a limp, but the staff assured us that he had been to their vet and it was only a muscle strain for which he was receiving treatment. Oh, what a cutie!!! I don't know how well he and Sawyer would get along, but I'm willing to give it a try. So they have to call my vet and several of my friends who will hopefully say that I'm a good cat daddy and if approved, I can come pick him up.

Good luck. "Cat daddy" -- never heard of this title!

What a lucky kitty! I hope Sawyer doesn't get too jealous.

Drat. I guess my email about the very sweet stray kitty around our house who needs a home was a day too late. :(

Sorry, Cappy. I've already fallen for this one. I knew about your other cat who needed a home as an only cat, but not about this new one. However, if anything goes wrong with the adoption, I will be glad to consider your stray kitty.

Good luck with the new kitty. And if "Chester" does not fit him, feel free to re-name him. After all, it's not like they would come when you called anyway. They're cats.

And thanks for adopting an adult cat. Those are always the hardest to place, and most in need of good owners. I hope he works out for you.
