Well, the Alumnia BBQ turned out to be fun. I finall met my teaching boss' crotchety new husband, whom I knew was a Swarthmore grad (she was home with the kids). I also met a fellow alum from UPenn Pharmacology, who started grad school after I was done, but knew some of the same people. It was a lovely day for a BBQ and the event was a success, despite the group of dirt bike riders who insisted on motoring up and down the street for most of the afternoon. Thanks to eclectic_boy for organizing it!
