Duncan got a clean bill of health at the Vet's today (despite discovering an inventive new hiding place that took me half an hour to locate). He had his remaining stitches removed and his incisions are all healing nicely. Plus he's gained back some lost weight. The Vet assured me that the dark spot on the top of his head is simply a wart and not another site of cancer. I obtained copies of the lab reports, where they list his prognosis as "Guarded." The Vet assures me that that is only if we hadn't proceeded with the surgery. they're going to do some more research on his specific cancer and see whether there is anything else they can recommend.
