Neighborhood in Flux

I just spoke with my neighbors who live in the twin next door (on the side of my twin neighbors) and they told me that both they and their twin neighbor are selling their houses. They had spent the last year remodeling, but then their circumstances changed and they have decided to move. They are asking $90,000 above what I paid for my house and they will probably get it. The other neighbor is a nice older woman who has health problems and so must relocate to a place where she can receive some assistance. So I feel very fortunate to have bought my house 2 years ago, just as the neighborhood had started to turn over. Both my twin neighbor and my across the alley twin neighbor are new owners, too. So hopefully, nice people with move in to the neighbor's homes and the transitions with go smoothly.

Hardly an obsession - more like an imprisonment. And after that, no Philly for us - it's right back to California, baby! :D
