A Day Off

puzzld1's favorite scented Yankee Candle to keep here for when she visits. True Love is her finding a place for me to buy it on sale!
I took today off from work and puttered around Chinatown withpuzzdl1. We had yummy noodle soup at a Vietnamese restaurant along with interesting shrimp patties served around a stick of sugar cane. Tasty, but quite unusual. Shopped at Trader Joes and Acme for supplies for her trip to BiCamp this weekend. Shopped for myself as well - GingerLemon cookies, OliveFeta Tampenade, and cashew/macadamia/dried pineapple mix! I'm set for the week! We met up with jenn_girl to transfer some of the supplies and they'll be on the road tomorrow. My idea of camping is at a nice roadside motel near the woods, so I'm sure that they will have more fun without me there complaining.
Meanwhile, I plan to put some work into the house this weekend. I'll either paint the moulding along the stairway or sand at least one wall of the bathroom. See if I don't!
